What moves the price
- Minimum charge. Most assemblers charge at least £30–£50 per visit, so one small item costs about the same as two or three.
- Several items at once. Bigger jobs are often cheaper per piece than the ranges above suggest.
- Where you live. London and the South East sit at the top of each range.
- Access and extras. Stairs, no lift or parking, fixing furniture to the wall and taking packaging away can all add to the price.
