Is it really free? Who pays you?
Yes, it's free for you. Assemblers pay us a small fee for each enquiry we send them, or a share of jobs they win. That keeps the service free and never changes the price you pay: you'd pay the assembler the same if you'd found them yourself. We never take payment from you.
How many assemblers will contact me?
Up to three, all of whom cover your postcode and handle your type of job. We limit it on purpose: you should get a few competitive quotes, not a phone that rings all day. They usually get in touch within one working day.
How much does flat pack assembly cost?
As an indicative guide: a double bed frame is around £40–£80, a two-door hinged wardrobe £60–£120 and a single IKEA PAX frame £90–£150. Most assemblers have a minimum charge of about £30–£50 per visit. Your quotes depend on the exact items, access and your area.
Do you do the assembly yourselves?
No. We're a matching service, not an assembly company. You book and deal with the assembler directly: their quote, their terms, their guarantee. We choose partners carefully and drop firms that generate complaints.
Which areas do you cover?
We currently serve Greater London, Birmingham & the West Midlands, Greater Manchester and Leeds & West Yorkshire. Enquiries from elsewhere are welcome, but we'll be upfront if we can't match you yet.
What do I need to tell you?
What the items are (brand and product names if you know them), how many, your postcode, when you'd like it done and, ideally, photos of the boxes. No account and no payment details.
